Looking to have flip up overhead North American Marine bi-fold designer doors created for our concession stands within the Javits Center. This application is for a North American Marine bifold door- we would like it to be basic frame and then it will be clad with wooden slats to look like a privacy screen. We are leaning towards the bi-fold door as it doesn't require much clearance in front of it but are curious as to the price differential between the two. Hello We recently connected two bi-fold strap North American Marine doors at the Structural Engineering Laboratory at Canterbury University in Christchurch, New Zealand. The users believe from the manuals that the open and close buttons should be momentary press only and that the door should continue to run to the full open or close position without needing to be held in. Dear Sir / Madam Indorama is a multinational company presently constructing a fertilizer wharf (urea) plant in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and also a port terminal in Onne port for export of urea. The port projects we are considering will need North American Marine Doors and are now in the commissioning stages and will be ready for operations in middle of next month.  The unloading station is fitted with a de-dusting system inside and therefore it is necessary to keep the North American Marine Doors in closed condition at both ends (exit & entry) for effective functioning of de-dusting units. We have fitted eight numbers of rolling shutters as doors for the four bays but the opening and closing of the rolling shutter is taking long time (5 minutes for opening and 5 minutes for closing) and as well we are afraid that this shutters look delicate and may get damaged as they are to be opened and closed at least 100 times (50 openings and 50 closing) in a day. Please advise whether you can provide us an effective fast opening marine door design solution for suitable doors which can be operated within a short time and also can be used 100 times in a day.
