What People Are Asking?

342: RV DOOR

1

Hi. I was wondering if you have a door dealer in Florida. I am currently enclosing my current 2 car garage and adding a new 70' x 30' RV garage to the side of my home. We will be installing a 16(w) x 14(h) traditional RV door when the building is complete. I was searching for alternatives to the traditional RV Garage door and came across your website. The photos of the Korthius garage door are amazing and I'm interested in doing something similar. I really like the appearance of the traditional garage door but to have the full RV door functionality when needed is amazing. If you have a contact in the Miami area, can you pass on my information or respond with their details? Or, if you have contact information for a dealer in my area I'd really love to hear from them. Thank you very much for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am in the early stages of designing a new home. I have some HOA constraints on garage door sizes. I read about your RV door which might work for me. I am interested in one 12' high by 10' wide bifold door. I would like an introduction to a bifold or hydraulic door dealer in Indiana and get some specification, openings sizes, weight of materials that can be mounted, insulation options, etc. I am interested in price ranges as well. The RV garage door will be north of Indianapolis Indiana. Thanks

3

I have an existing pole barn 12' ceiling. It had a ten foot door which was removed and an 11' door installed when I purchased a small motorhome. I am now looking at a motorhome that is 11' 3", is there an economical door (strap maybe) available? Width is 14'. Door in Ohio

4

Interested in a standalone door from schweiss doors. I'm thinking about doing a PVC roofed structure on a concrete slab and would like to see what my door options are. Curious in pros and cons of the strap bifold door vs the hydraulic door. I'm thinking 40' wide. Height is not determined, i'm thinking either 10' or bump up to 14' if I want to fit an RV.

5

Interested in a decorative front -BiFold-We are building an RV garage and double garage- with living space on top of the garages. They will both be 16 foot garages doors. Our RV HT is 13"1" (5th wheel toy Hauler) We would like to price either two RV garage doors: W12x H15 (RV) and a W16 X H15(DBL garage) Or maybe one to across the entire length. 16' 6.5" ply 19' which could be 35' 6.5" Exact specs can be decided based on availability Is this something that could be done

6

I have Commercial building with a garage door. I need the opening to be double car width. To open so that the full ceiling height is achieved in order for me to fit a RV sprinter van inside the garage without a door in the way. I barely have clearance with the existing ceiling height. I’m thinking that perhaps your doors may make it easier for me to achieve this rather than traditional rollup or rollback doors. Please let me know what’s possible. The building is block construction and was planning on adding a little for the increased opening size as the current opening is only a single car width.

7

Interested in a custom door to clean up the front of a home that has a large RV door. I can email prints.

8

i need a 13'8"(h)x 14' (w)door for a RV shop, VERY little header with this height. Should probably hindge on the outside. Winter weather is a concern here in upstate New York

9

Looking at your freestanding bifold doors for an RV garage Is there a ratio between the clear opening and the top of header hinge height or is that a standard dimension? I am considering 2 doors 11’w x 11’ clear opening and 11’w x 8’ clear opening. Project is in NW Indiana. Late summer timeframe. Are Local experienced installers available, contact info? Could you get me rough base budget estimates?

10

Got a standard garage with 8 foot restriction for design standards. RV is 10 foot. Builder approved 10.5 ceiling height in garage. Need you guys for a standard two car garage with 10.5 height. Must appear that the 8 foot garage door is there so your solution looks perfect. Trying to get an idea on cost.

11

Interested in information and pricing for strap door. Looking to conceal for RV. Thanks,

12

I found Schweiss doors while searching for doors to house a 5th wheel RV in a barn. I'm curious as to the cost of your Bifold doors. While I dont have any design yet on the barn (to be built) I was hoping to get a ball park figure/understanding of the costs. The building will likely be of wood structure but I have not ruled out steel building. I dont know if you have standard selections or if everything is custom. I believe bifold would be better in my situation because of possible snow.

13

I work for an architecture firm in Québec, Canada and my client would be really interested in one of your bi-fold rv garage door after seeing some projects where the door blends in and doesn't look like a 14'x14'.

14

Hey guys. I used to live in St. Cloud back in the day. I’m in Southern California now and we need to quote 2 - 12 foot wide by 16 foot tall insulated steel doors for a big high end stucco building. They need to have the highest R-value possible, and preferably one or two rows of windows towards the top. On your homepage, there is a BiFold RV garage door that looks very similar to what I need. The only thing is that the one on the homepage also lifts up the tiles on the roof and the overhang. I don’t have anything in the way there. The building is very tall, so I really just need bifold doors. If you can add extra stabilizers for High wind, that would also be preferable. One door is on the end of the building and the other one is on the side of the building. The overall footprint of the building is 40 feet wide by 124 feet long and 18 foot to the eaves. If you could give me a call or shoot me an email, I’d appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

15

New 40x64x16 pole barn. Looking for insulated large door instead of conventional. Your doors look interesting. I want to make it easy to get boats, RV ect. In the building.

16

Hi, I have a 19’ airstream and getting ready to move. As I prepare for my new house search, I’ve noticed most homes in that area have garages that can fit my airstream, at least length and height, once beyond the garage door. I need 10’ clearance to access the garage. After a brief search, I found Schweiss Doors company and the bifolding garage door and the RV Doors! A couple of questions: 1) how much structure space is needed to be able to replace a traditional garage door with your bifolding RV door style? 2) are you aware if HOAs allow for this type of garage door? Thanks!

17

Have a hangar door I believe was bought from Schweiss doors company. I would like to match that door with a RV door on the other side of hangar.

18

We are planning a garage for our motorhome. Do you have contractors , or dealers, who can work with your bifold doors in northern Michigan? Are you able to provide a very general cost estimate for a 16’x16’ door so we can determine if this is the route we would like to go? I need to understand the price ballpark to understand how they compare to a standard Residential overhead type of insulated garage door. I love the schweiss design and think it would be a great way to have function and the aesthetic I want. I am trying to bring others along to the same conclusion and show them schweiss. 😊 I’d love to be the first in the area to have one of these and to allow you to use it as a model to show others. For estimate purposes, I’d like doors to be able to have a row of windows somewhere in them to bring in light. Thanks for any information you can provide!!

19

Please contact us for our current rv/shop project that we plan to build this summer. We have an issue with our HOA’s garage door height restrictions and would like assistance with over coming that restriction. We need 12’ garage door and HOA will allow only 8’ Looking at your website there are RV incognito bifold doors under designer doors, something like this would work.

20

I am putting together a quote for a garage for a customer in the area (Lake Delton, WI), where they will have an RV and are interested in a large bi-fold door like the one installed on the Hare house that I saw an article/pictures of on your Schweiss Must See Photo web page. Is this something you could help with - even though we are in different states? Email is best.

21

I have an HOA that only allows "standard size" RVdoors. I think as long as it looks like a normal door, I can get by with what I need. I need a 14ft tall by 10ft wide bifold or hydraulic RV door for my camper. Can I get a quote for this and installation information? Kind regards, Bryan

22

Would like a bifold or hydraulic door for an RV. Hoping for 10' wide by 13'6 high, and would like to have windows and something similar to the Korthuis RV look on the front. Door could be opened manually, as long as there are hydraulic or bifold door forces that make opening it, holding it in place and closing it relatively easy.

23

I’m looking to build a new home with an RV attached garage but am running into zoning issues with a 14’ door. I’m interested in your bifold door as a solution just like you did for the hidden bifold RV door for Korthius in Washington state. I’m looking for an estimate on the cost of your bifold doors.

24

Looking for a quote on an bifold RV door 12 wide by 12 high that can look like home construction as pictured on your Schweiss Doors Must See Photo page.

25

We are building a custom home outside of Austin in Liberty Hill, TX. We would like to build a garage for a future RV. The builder will make adjustments to the plans of the extra garage to accommodate for a custom Schweiss RV door that would go with the architecture of the home. We are making decisions this week on the plans, and will walk through for the framing part in a few weeks. Please let us know prices, procedure, availability and timeline. Thank you, Vonya Planchon

26

Rebuilding a home lost in a Colorado wildfire, this time with an RV garage bifold strap door. We plan on installing a 14 x 14' door. Need pricing and ordering details. Can a regular appropriate sized door be installed using your system? We would like the door to match the other garage door we will use for the automobile side of the garage. We can send building plans and photos by email. Thank you! Kevin Mott, MD

27

We are going to use one of your bifold strap doors for an RV garage You had a list of installers here in the Mpls area. Could you send me that list please to Tom@TJBhomes.com Tom

28

I have a customer with a 16' x 8' garage door opening. He is interested in putting in a Bi-fold RV door just as the couple seen on your website on his house. He has decided to use a regular hidden door panel as the filler. So I would like a price on the bi-fold lifting mechanism. Not

29

We are going to start building a new home next year and would like to store our Airstream travel Trailer at our home but would like it to look like the other doors such as your "hidden" bifold RV door as shown on your Schweiss website. It needs to be approx. 10-12' tall and approx 16 wide. This way we can park a vehicle next to the Airstream. The other stalls will be 8' doors. We are looking at options and I saw this article. Link pasted below. This will have to be worked in to the home design so thought I'd get some suggestions from your professional Schweiss engineering crew. Thanks, Tom

30

Looking at option of bifold strap door vs. (3) Steel OH doors for RV/Trailer storage for estimated 48' wide by 60' deep x 14' ceiling clearance. Plan would be to sheath the wall like rest of building and have likely 2-3 windows to complement sidewalls. Call not necessary for quote but if you need more information, please do. Thank you.

31

Looking for a door system like that on the Korthuis project shown on your website. We are building a spec home w/RV garage beginning later this year and would like to get costs for our proforma and structural details for our engineer. That is an amazing bifold door you built for Korthius.

32

Building a detached RV garage, but do not want the RV door. Would like an estimate for a standard Bifold RV garage door. with lift straps and remote opener.

33

Interested in pricing and size options for your bi-fold lift strap door with man door option. Looking to possibly use in an RV garage facility we are looking at constructing. Bay widths are 30' wide. Looking at a 20' wide x 14-16' tall. Need clear width of 14' minimum in open position. Question, does the integral man door pass for egress in most jurisdictions. Also, please price option without man-door and with a pair of RV door windows. Thanks, Rob Wierick Sync Architecture

34

I’m looking to build a few modular park model homes for resale that will include your "Hideaway" RV doors. Basically they’re a rv trailer that only gets moved once. I’d like to attach swing up doors on them in a few locations to use for security purposes when vacant and to act as a overhang cover when in use. These will be a cover over a wall of sliding glass, so some may be clad with wood battens, steel siding or glass. Not really sure yet. Anyway, give me a call when you get a chance, hopefully we will be able to work together. P.s. I’m also interested in becoming a dealer for your product. I build some pretty crazy buildings and I’m always looking for something unique to keep me above the rest. Take care Lukas

35

I am building an RV garage addition but the ARB won’t allow the visible garage door to be higher than the doors on the existing home (7’ high). Using your RV hidden bifold door technique I figure this could give me a 14 ft. tall door, which would be adequate. We have plans and are pouring the slab tomorrow. This is a stucco home with flat tile roof (replacing existing barrel tile). There are two windows with banding (mandated by the ARB) above the exposed garage door. I would like to send the plans to one of your sales members and discuss options.

36

Have existing storage building for motor home and horse trailer. Existing door opening is 36x16’ Interested in bi-fold door. Must have 13.5’ opening for motor home. How do I begin to get an accurate measurement for the Clear opening.

37

What are the specifications/dimensions for a RV bifold door that has to be about 18 ft. tall and what is the pricing.

38

I am a contractor in CT. I also own and 44' Newmar coach. I saw on your website the coach garage that your bifold door was used for the Hare's North Oaks, St. Paul, Minn. I want a similar RV bifold door design, but the door wants to be 14' clear high and 14' wide clear. Is there a CT based installer? How do I get pricing. The garage will be heated, so we want it to be insulated, maybe we do that on site?

39

We are planning to build a house and would like to include an RV garage. I am not fond of having a large RV door and I am sure my neighbors would not appreciate it either. The custom made Schweiss RV door which Herb Korthuis of Lynden, Washington had installed is just what I am looking for. Could you give me qoute on a Schweiss door to accomplish this? Thank You....

40

You folks have been great answering all my questions and I appreciated that you showed me the hidden RV doors you made for the guys in Washington and Minnesota. That's the kind of bifold RV door I'm wanting. Much appreciated. I am looking to build an RV garage using one of your strap or hydraulic doors in the Oklahoma City area. Do you work through distributors and local installers? Would love to see an installation in person. Thoughts?

41

Looking to get an idea for the cost of a bifold door to fit my RV Metal Building. Are these self install? In order to meet stringent local housing regulations, this door has to appear half its size when on the RV garage. Just like you picture the Washington and Minnesota RV doors on your Schweiss website.

42

We’re building a new house with subdivision restrictions of 10 ft tall RV bifold door max height so looking to add something to accommodate our 5th wheel camper We’d want 14-16 feet wide, and 14 feet tall, but however would work and be visually appealing.

43

I talked to a salesman last week, he was supposed to email me, but sometimes people get my email wrong. I'm building a motor coach garage that needs one of your Schweiss hidden door tricks like you used on the Washington RV door client. Opening is 16' wide. The header is not framed in yet. Building is 17' 9 1/2" tall. When door is open I need 14' clearance to get RV in. I need to put lap

44

Just looking for approximately the cost for a 12’ 14 R V garage door bifold. Can change size if there is a standard size to use. Door height is 16 ft.

45

I am looking for information about one of your RV bifold garage doors that allows it to blend in better with the architecture of the home, just like you picture in your Must See Photos website section.

46

I saw the RV bifold strap door from Washington State and was interested in a cost for something along those lines to match our one story house and be okayed by our HOA. 14 wide by 18 tall or 16 tall. We have a Class C RV and it's stored out of state. Also, Fl has hurricanes and it would need to be up to Miami Hurricane wind strength code door. If we could have our RV at home, that would be great. We're looking for price and information at this time. Please email me quote or appx price for a door. Thanks Beth

47

Want a "ball park" quote for bifold strap RV doors for 2 ends of a rv garage. It is in planning stage and opening will be 24'wide and 14' tall. Just looking at options

48

I have a client that is interested in a 12W x 14H bifold door for a RV garage addition Im adding to his home. I would like to hang an 18" "eyebrow" roof over the center of the upper panel to conceal the height of door. Ive seen a photo attributed to you on the Schweiss Doors Must See Photo website titled "Korthuis RV Garage door". Please give me a call to discuss specs and Price.

49

Hello! Today, I saw your bifold RV garage door for the Hare project in St. Paul on the Great Ideas YouTube channel. I'm building a new home in Prescott, AZ, that will include a 10ft wide by 12ft tall RV garage opening (Class B RV only). The possibility of incorporating a bifold liftstrap door that skirts around zoning restrictions in a manner similar to the Hare project is intriguing. We are just starting the construction phase, but likely won't be ready to install the RV garage doors for 6 months or so. I have an architect and a general contractor, but before I get them involved, I hope to get a rough, ballpark estimate of cost since my budget is pretty well set. I know there may be a number of options or other considerations that may affect the final cost, but if the ballpark cost is way above my budget, then there is no need to pursue this. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. Cheers, Gordon.

50

I am working on a detached garage located in a neighborhood in Katy TX that has restriction in garage size. Per the HOA, the largest door that can be placed is a standard 7' x 16' garage door. The desire is to design this opening to one day accommodate a large boat or RV exactly the way your Schweiss website showed on Washington and Minnesota RV engineered doors. The face of the garage is brick to match the existing structure, looking for info on if you have see anyone use your bifold garage doors with a brick veneer to match the rest of the structure

51

I am contemplating doing a bifold door on a RV garage similar to the photos you have on your website of the hidden Minnesota and Washington doors used to get around the zoning restrictions. 12' wide. Need 14' clear hight. I am looking for a ballpark price. Call if you need to.

52

We need a 12'wide x 14'high bifold door for our RV Garage. How much would that cost roughly? We live in Georgia south of Atlanta. Would like for it to match the house garage door as well, just like you have pictured on your Washington State RV door on your website. That is a normal two car opening about 8.5 feet high I guess. Price only with lift straps, no cables.

53

Planning attached 20x40 RV garage with scissor trusses on concrete floor. I saw on the Schweiss Door website a very nice disguised bifold as single door for home owners association approval in Minnesota and another in Washington. I’d like a quote for a steel door 12 X 15 (13’ opening clearance). Also, if you have framing specs I can share with my architect. Thanks Mark

54

Do you have a dealer in Northwest Arkansas, Fayetteville/Bentonville area? I would like to get a price estimate on a bifold liftstrap hidden RV door. We will be building just after July of 2021 but have started the preliminary planning stage. We would like the same rv storage setup that is shown on the house featured on your Schweiss Doors Must See Photo website story.

55

Hi... I see you figured out how to get around zoning restrictions on residential garage doors? I want a 12'-13' RV door for my house but code only allows an 11' door (they could even say they want 9'). Let me know the cost and what it will involve.

56

Looking for door for RV that when closed, from the outside, looks like a regular garage door in size... We saw this on the Schweiss Doors website: Herb Korthius had a contractor build a façade on the front of the Schwiess door frame to match the outside of his home. This RV garage was specifically designed so that the seams were nearly invisible. “ It all goes to show you, if there’s a will, there’s a way,” said Korthuis. That is the kind of attitude all do-it-yourself’ers live by. We admire Schweiss Doors innovative nature and find this to be one of the most unique and distinct RV garage options we have seen.

57

Aloha, Wondering how much a "hidden" bifold door would cost for my RV carport. Opening is 18' wide and 14' high. but needs to look no higher than 8' tall to meet local zoning restrictions. I am open to a diy kit with sourcing any materials locally to save on shipping since I am here in HI. I may be able to freight foward from CA as well if any easier or cost effective. Mahalo, Bronson

58

I want a disguised RVgarage door just like you built for the guys in Washington and Minnesota as pictured in your Must See Photo section. The bifold look good. Do you work through local companies or design on sit and ship/install?

59

Interested in a 16’ tall by 12’ wide RV door.. . just like the couple bifold RV doors you feature on your Schweiss Doors Must See Photos. Would you have a ball park figure for this style of Bifold RV door that allows RV owners to skirt around strict zoning requirements? What is you lead time on orders. I'd like to have you come to Nebraska to do the install.

60

This is a residential application requiring a minimum 12' clear opening for an RV/camper on a detached garage that is being designed. The municipality has a 10' maximum overhead door height without requiring a special use permit. Your product may help me deal those requirements as shown on two RV doors that were built by Schweiss to overcome city zoning restrictions. The goal would be to have the bottom 8' of door be white metal to match overheard doors on the house and the top portion match the siding on the structure. Thanks much

61

We have a client interested in the Bi-fold RV Garage door. Looking for a price and details on design, backup system and install.

62

Planning and cost for bifold liftstrap RV door in residential (hidden) to park rv in garage

63

I'm having a house built in Titusville, FL and interested in a lift strap bifold door for the RV garage. The house has 6 inch thick cast-in-place concrete walls. I need 12 foot wide door with 14 foot vertical clearance. I've seen pictures of RV garages with bifold doors and am interested in feasibility and cost of having this bifold RV door on my new home.

64

Looking to build an RV garage door. I would like a 25ish foot wide door by 14 to 15 feet tall. It can be hydraulic or bifold RV door.  What kind of pricing am I looking at? Can we install it ourselves? Thank you.

65

Building a 30'x60' RV garage. I need two 14'x14' bi-fold garage doors. Could also go with a single "raises outward" style. No other special requirements. What are your available options? Please indicate a range price range for bi-fold versus the single piece hydraulic style RV door.

66

I'd love pricing for a bifold door on an average/tall RV carport. I have two that need fronts. Thank you.

67

extending my garage for a motor home need a bifold RV strap door 14 high by 12 wide was trying to get a price on hyd or bifold thanks....bodie

68

I am looking for a great Schweiss idea bi-fold door for an RV, similar to "your most popular story" where the zoning restrictions do not allow doors greater than 8 ft high.

69

I would like to know if i can get a 8ft (wide) x 9ft (tall) bifold door. I am trying to accomodate a 8'4.25" tall Sprinter Disability van. Please advise as soon as possible with pricing. Please reply by email. Thank you! Eunice Samuels

70

I have a RV looking for a hydraulic one piece door 14 x 20'. Steel building and Builder putting wood on your outside garage door. Trying to understand rough cost of your system.

71

Building a large garage and want to make a hidden RV garage bifold door as well as possibly using bifold strap doors to open game room to outside porch

72

Looking to fit a travel trailer into a garage, similar to the Korthuis Home in Lynden, Wa. that receives so much traffic on the Schweiss Doors Must See Photo website. The trailer has a total height of 131" and is 8' wide. It would need to match a regular residential door to it's left (looking at the front elevation of the house). I'm just looking at ballpark numbers at this moment to get a sense of the scale of this cost versus demolishing a foundation and pouring a new one. Your Schweiss RV door is an architectural work of art. Cheers

73

I would like to get more information for a hydraulic door for an RV garage. 14Wx15' to be installed near Austin Tx. I want this to be a designer door that will get past area codes restricting door sizes like the ones you did in Minnesota and Washington.

74

Working on looking at options for a new Shop for my home, I'm still in the investigation stage. Looking at maybe a 40 X 60 building and need a clear span of 14 feet for the 5th wheel RV, one of the issues on the site is a narrow street to make the turn I have been debating on having a wide RV bifold garage door like 16 wide to help make it easier to back in. But now I'm thinking bifold liftstrap RV door. Thinking maybe a 20 or 25 foot wide. I understand finishes ETC can really impact cost but can I get a general idea on costs? Also what sort of clearance would I need to open the door? On the outside? Thinking parking in front of the shop and the needs there.

75

I'm looking to build an RV garage and was doing some searching for a suitable RV bifold garage door. I really like the idea of your bi-fold door and would like to get some more information on pricing for a travel-trailer/5th wheel sized opening. At this point I'm at the information gathering phase of the project and am not yet ready to purchase. I'm just trying to get my ducks in a row . . . and to find out how much the ducks cost! :) Finally, do you have a partner reseller in the Atlanta area? Whit

76

Beginning research on these type of bifold RV doors to house a motorhome. Will likely be in a wood construction, however I'm going to explore the steel structure and/or pole building as options. Thank you for the information.

77

We are building a home in Southwest Florida that will have an RV garage. Very interested in disguising the RVgarage door similar to that of others you have done in Minnesota and Washington. Interested in details of your door and to understand how that could be purchased and installed in our area of FL.

78

Dear Sir. I am building a garage and have a 12x12 garage door opening. I am considering a vertical bifold. How much useable vertical space is there. I have an rv that needs 11 ft. 4 inches. I would like it to look like a barn door. Can i buy parts from you and put the panels on myself? Thanks. Tom Beaton

79

I'm in the process of planning for a new RV bifold  door install on my hangar. I am a bit flexible on size yet because I do not have the outer frame yet, but I am looking at about 40'-42' wide by 18'-15' tall for the opening. I am open to a variety of door types (including dual roll-ups with removable center track or side sliding, but I prefer to avoid this as it requires getting out to remove the track). I do want automatic (remote) operating, plus maybe a man-door. At this point, I am trying to get an idea of what it will cost to get a bifold RV hangar type door. I am somewhat limited in funds, so cost will have a lot of weight in my decision making. I am also open to your Build-Your-Own-Door kit. I know that you cannot offer a contractual quote estimate with such limited information, but can you give me a little bit of suggestion or rough estimate of various door prices?

80

I have a 12 ft. high x 16 ft. wide sectional RV door now and need to increase the height to 14' 10" for a motor home we plan to buy. There is a 14 x 14 x 3/4" I beam 11" from ether side of the door frame that I plan to attach the new door frame to and a 8/14 header to attach the top to. Can this RV door be insulated and equipped with bifold auto latches and remote opener?

81

My customer is building a new RV garage. Very interested in your bifold RV doors that meet zoning restrictions. We have questions. I'm thinking about a bifold door system.  Are bifold doors outside surface mounted? And how much over head height do we loose? Looking for a 19' clearance under door. Please email me a info PAC in regards Thank you happy holidays Jeremy

82

thinking about a bifold strap operated door for my RVcarport and enclosing it. send me a brochure and some pricing per sizes. thanks joe might do self install.

83

Hello, I am looking at the Schweiss bifold and hydraulic doors for a residential application very similar to the residential RV bifold zoning restricted Schweiss bifold door in Lynden, WA that you have featured on your website. I am looking for a 10' tall by 11' ft wide bifold or hydraulic door that I can mount a std size residential garage door front (7'6" x 9 or 10' wide) surrounded by wood trim and cedar siding to match my house. I would likely prefer the bifold and assume that is the less expensive option. However, I've requested below quotes on both the hydraulic and bifold to see what the cost difference is and which is actually the less costly option. My only other question for planning purposes is what is the typically lead time on these doors from time of order placement? Thanks.

I need to get some infomation on either a hydralic door or bi-fold door for a residential RVgarage door. the size of the door is fairly large - its for one RV and garage and height is 17' . I would like to save headroom inside the garage so this seems like the bifold RV garage door is the best option, since garage has high ceiling. thank you

Hi, We are trying to get quotations as well as product information for a (1) single door RV garage for a contemporary house in CT: - 29 feet wide by 19 feet high opening (aprox) - Wood lattice as outside finish - Steel columns in consideration (wood for now). We are concerned with having a sagging open door and flex problems since this door may be a 3000 lbs or more. If you can provide: - Vertical and horizontal details (since we are tight in space we need to fully understand how this work) - Price - Weight - General RV Door information Please contact me as soon as possible

Looking for similar Schweiss RV door as Herb Korthuis of Lynden, Washington, 16 foot tall and 12 feet wide. I'm also facing local homeowner restrictions that the Schweiss bifold RV door design will alleviate.

We are working on a new project and will need some Schweiss bifold 14x16 doors for RV entrances to RV self storage units. We are looking for pricing for a Hangar folding door with liftstraps that also has an individual walk in door as you have with a door that comes out and up, but doesn't fold. Can you make that type? .

I live in a very restricted community and want to build an RV garage with Schweiss bifold doors that meet or exceed local zoning regulations. I would like to get some information on your bifold doors, including whether they meet Florida building codes. Any information you might provide will be appreciated. Thank you.
