517: OHIO DOORS

My pricing is due Tuesday (4/2) if you're able to have pricing to me Monday (4/1), I'd appreciate it but also understand I didn't provide a lot of time for quoting. I had also submitted an initial request for a different size. They are looking for an option for a 90'x26' clear opening and a 100'x26' clear opening in Ohio. Pricing does need to be broken out for these two options so they can determine which size of building they would like to utilize. I have a rough spec if you'd like to review it as well.

I'm building a 48'x72' heated farm shop in Ohio. Not impressed with the cost of over head doors that I have had quoted and interested to see how a bifold door would compare. The barn will be stick frame construction with steel side on the outside and a steel liner on the inside.

I saw you guys at the NFMS and am interested in possibly using your doors on one of my buildings in Ohio. Currently I have a 33'x 55' pole building with three commercial garage doors. I wanted to put wider doors in and then I saw your doors. Couple questions. Can these doors act as a header to hold up the structure above it or does there already have to be one in place? Building is a pole barn with trusses 4' on center. Also how much room is lost at the top when the door is open if any? Best time to contact is Fridays anytime. I would also like a ballpark price range to see if this is even in the budget. If we can start there that would be great. Thanks

We are looking at options for doors for new construction storage building in Ohio. Would like a 14' high opening, either 2 - 14' wide openings or 1 - 30' opening on end wall of 40' wide building. Can you provide pricing on strap bifold doors vs hydraulic powered doors and any details that my builder may need to properly frame for opening. At this time we are leaning toward wood frame on concrete block foundation, but also considering conventional wood pole building. Thank You

I am interested in building a personal hangar at Ohio airport. I am just beginning this quest, but I think I want a bi-fold door with straps. I didn't see any stock door sizes at your website - are there stock sizes, or is everything made to order? My needs are likely in the 40x12 size range. It would be great if it had decent sealing and insulation - Ohio isn't in the same category as Minnesota, but it's not exactly warm here in the winter! Since the door seems to be key, I am starting with you guys, and I don't have a contractor or building type locked in yet (starting to research wood vs metal). Can you offer any advice from your experiences? PS - I am an EAA member, and happy to see you exhibiting at Airventure every year.

I for at Wellogy Design in Dublin, OH. This is a new construction project for the Ohio Expo Center Fairgrounds Carousel enclosure. Looking for Bi-fold (or open to hydraulic) doors spanning 23' long and 16' Wide. Is this size possible? What are the dimensions of the track and support system for this? What is the weight of the door and what structural support would it need? Are there options for incorporating a man door/ Around Columbus, Ohio, are there any local installs we can check out, of similar or close parameters?
