I am planning to build an airplane hangar at our Aero Plantation Airpark for my 1965 Cessna 172. I would like to know what size door/hangar to build. I do need something affordable but durable. I read about the neighbor's bifold door hangar who seemed pleased with your doors. You guys do nice work

I am building a new home with a plane hangar. I need approx 45' of width using an aero Plantation bifold liftstrap door. Is that a standard size or are all your doors custom-made.

Looking to replace a door on a 2000 sf residential aero plantation hangar. 40' x 10' opening. Wood frame construction on concrete block footer. Current door(s) is a pair of 20' garage doors with swing-out center mullion.

Building an Aero Plantation hangar but unsure of what height....if the bi-fold is open, how much off the top header/ opening do I lose? I'm sure you mentioned it somewhere but was inundated with all the awesome info on the Schweiss Doors website! Also....how much room is needed on either side? If I build a 50' wide hangar- what size door- 48'?..(I had someone tell me I needed 10' on either side)  What is easier for installation...wood or steel side column?  Installation straight forward and easy as a DIY?

I am building a barn and would like to quote a 50' and 60' doors for my hangar at an aero plantation. I am not sure what the standard height is but would need at least 18'. Thanks, Marcus

Good Morning I am inquiring about the cost of a 20' x 40' Schweiss aero plantation hangar door for a shop we are building at a hangar east an hour of Strathmore, Alberta, Canada. I would need pricing for these doors installed and what is required as far as end wall construction and structure to accommodate these doors. Our plan is to build a steel building or a conventional stick framed building on a 4' frost wall and footings. If you could send me more information on this design would be greatly appreciated. We need supplied and installed and also what type of service warranty you offer on install. Delivery time would also be great to know also. We are looking for a Schweiss bifold door supplier for all of our building and looking through your website you can supply all that we would require for different applications.

Hello: Regarding the project at Georgia aerodrome, have you provided a price quote for this bifold aero plantation door? Also, to confirm, the hanger opening is designed as 26' high and 74' wide. Plus, the door is to be strap lift, with automatic side latches & remote-control openers, and with 4 windows installed in the door. Thank you.
