Hello, I am designing a new hanger in Washington for a single Cessna 182 and it is very early in the design phase, and at the moment all I know is it will be pre-engineered wood posts and metal siding with some insulation. I am looking for some info on a bifolding door and what would be my best option. The Client is asking for a 45' wide by 13' tall door, but I don't how mounting, operation, locking, or anything like that would work so I would some information on all of that. Let me know if there is any other information that would help you figure out what the right option is. Thank you!

I am looking for certified repair. We have a hanger at a Washington state airport with 4 bifold hanger doors. We have had issues with one door in particular with the clamping mechanism binding, causing the chain to "bounce" or skip teeth and bending the screw drive that the center strap for the mechanism mounts to. We have had this repaired approx 6 months ago and it has reverted 2-3 times since. Is there a service company you can recommend so we can have this issue figured out and fixed. I appreciate any help you can provide..

The approximate dimensions of the three doors are: 120'x28', 80'x28', and 70'x20'.

We are still working out the exact door clear opening width dimension with the building designer. 44’ is probably the maximum clear width. Project located in Sequim, Washington.

Hydraulic 40x16. I’d like the super structures quoted with the door. I’m looking at building it in a wood LVL and if the door self supported that would probably be helpful. Door going to Washington.
