189: HYDRAULIC VERTICAL LIFT DOORS

I need info on a hydraulic verticle lift door for a proposed quonset style aircraft hangar. Does the shell of the hangar need to enclose the limits of the door or can the door limits extend beyond the shell of the quonset hut hangar?
