I am having a 50 wide X 48 long X 16 high, wood framed, float plane hanger constructed. The contractor wants me to decide on what brand/type door to use. I have built two hangers in the past and have some bi-fold experience. I am not exactly sure as to what you are asking about the clear openings, but I would like a a 14 ft usable hydraulic door height opening and a minimum 46 ft wide door opening. One of the questions the contractor has, is how much does the door weigh and how is the door weight distributed. Feel free to call and or e-mail.
