I am in the process of building a clear span fabric structure Shaped like a dome it is 30' wide and 15' tall. I am building this in a residential area and need the front Entrance to match my house. I am looking at a 55' door probably a bifold, but would like to have an estimate of a hydraulic as well. I would like to have a 15' clearance space for planes to go in and out of my hoop building hangar. What is required for the main support posts on either side for this.

I have purchased two of your bi-fold hangar doors in the past and will be building a hoop building soon on my farm. (another company is trying to talk me into their product but I have been fairly happy with yours) As I move forward with the building design and costs I was wondering what the cost would be between a 105'W X 27'-28'H clear opening vs a 95'W by 25'-26'H clear opening. 36' * 18' bifold door quotation please. Also we need to understand what is required for be sides and to of the door for mounting. 4 ply 2" * 8" laminated posts are being installed every 4' for the hoop building construction, with a double truss on the gable end where this door will be installed... Want to make sure we are planning for what you need. We need this door installed and will supply the electrical to meet your requirements. Hello. Looking to build a hoop building for my plane. Current plane is a Cessna 182F. Would be willing to go a little larger for another aircraft that might be larger (possible rental space to someone). Also trying to consider doing t-hangar for Cessna 182F. What would cost be for one door (open hangar) using bifold or hydraulic. If a t-hangar, what would cost be for 2-doors or 3-doors. Does cost include you installing? Am not ready to purchase yet. Trying to do estimate of costs and whether one open hangar or a 2 door (or 3-door t-hangar) design. Thank you.

Quick question regarding your bifolds door. We are currently designing a hoop building to house all landscape equipment (tractors, excavators, mowers, atv's...) and wanted to know if there was a minimum height for bifold doors. The current opening is 34' x 12' high and the shed would be built out of concrete. Are there any preliminary structural items we should take into account early in design stages? Please let us know. Wanting to put bifold auto latch doors on a steel hoop building. The building is sitting on 8 foot concrete wall, so the side column on the door openings are concrete on the bottom and wood the rest of the way up. Would like to have windows and a bifold remote opening strap door in it.

We are contemplating installing a Bi-fold hoop building door on an existing building that is currently open. We are researching our design prints for the construction specs. We would like to have a 14' high x 30' wide door opening. It appears that we could either place the header within the mainframe, or attach the header using stub ends. Whichever option appears to be more practical. Can you provide the Schweiss freestanding header as well as the door? Can we order the door with remote openers? Do you have any suggestions?

We have 4 Schweiss Bi-Fold Doors on our hoop building. Each hoop building bifold door has 4 cables used for folding the doors. I need to replace all of these cables with Schweiss lift straps. The cables are 3/16" steel, and I have started to replace these with 1/4" steel cables for added strength, but still don't think that is adequate. I would like to know the availability and price of your much safer bifold strap doors. Thanks for your time.

I BOUGHT TWO 40' BI-FOLD HOOP BUILDING DOORS IN SD LITTLE OVER 20 YEARS AGO. THE FLEXABLE FLASHING AT THE TOP OF ONE  DOOR HAS COME APART AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. DO YOU HAVE A BETTER FLASHING NOW ? IF SO WHAT IS THE COST FOR 2- 40' PEICES ? PLEASE EMAIL THE COST.

Need wood, hoop style building doors, 50'x96' built in 1978 collapsed due to 25% more snowpack than any year in the last 50 yrs. Just getting insurance figured out now, but will be replacing doors. Would like to go bigger - 80'x100'? with bifold liftstrap hoop doors on each side (25'x23') a walkout door on one end. Old building had fancy new overhead door with sliding doors on other end (these were useless). Schweiss Liftstrap/Autolatch  Hoop building doors needed by spring.

Our customer is looking to replace a double sectional hoop barn door with a Schweiss hydraulic tilt up door. Dimensions - 39'-9-1/2" wide by 11'-3 tall (RO). Existing framing is steel.What is the allowable weight for cladding the door? Do you need anything else from me. Note: our customer saw the installation we did for the Matanuska farm residence in Anchorage and loves the system.
