Hello! We're remodeling our garage for our home in Northern California and would like a quote on a new door. The RO is 177" x 79". Our main goals are that the garage door (1) be flush so that we can clad it with the same siding as the rest of the house, (2) be well-insulated since the garage will be a living space (we won't park our car in the garage), and (3) not have ceiling rails/tracks if possible. I realize there are probably a few types of garage doors that might make sense (bi-fold, tilt-up, carriage, etc.), so I'm open to your recommendations. My client is doing a 3-Car Garage Conversion ADU in California. There are codes for habitation that should be upheld - such as windows per sq. ft of habitable space. They wish to be able to use the space at least as a 2-car Garage in the future. Your products are exactly what I had in mind, however, I need a price point for an insulated, fenestrated door approx. 16' door and 8' door to replace the garage doors. I have a really unique project and it looks like your company might be the only one that has the best and safest solution for us. I have a micro Orchard that's only an acre and a half in southern california. We are converting the barn into an indoor children's enrichment education space. In order to get our licensing from the state I am not allowed to have garage doors. I have asked about bifold doors, and those that might also have walk through doors in them when they are down. I have two spaces that are 16 feet wide and 10 ft tall. I was hoping somebody could call me and talk to me about our little project so that we can get our doors open hopefully in time for summer programming.

We want to learn more about a bifold strap garage door for our home. We need a minimum vertical clearance of six and a half feet when open. What would be the total height needed for the garage door frame opening? Nine feet? Also, we need a guesstimate for the cost. Our door is fifteen feet wide and located in California.

Hello, I'm an engineer out of California and we are installing one of your hydraulic lift doors and two bi-fold doors on our metal building. My question has to do with your door reactions table. In the table there is a column for END HINGES, and it says right below "Side Column and 1st Hinge Loc. from Each End". My question is, is that a combined reaction or does it need to be applied individually to both the column and the 1st hinge? I appreciate your help. Thanks.

I am currently designing a workshop/garage/office space, and I was looking at doing one of the bifold style doors as an interior door between the office and garage. Since this is in Truckee California, there are pretty strict fire requirements for inside doors, and I was curious on what the fire rating of these doors can be. I know that a lot of that can probably vary based on the door style. We are looking for a manufacturer of overhead pivot doors, 10'6" x 10'6" that can be custom designed to fit both louvered and glazed panels. The location of the pivot would be 1/3 the distance from the top of door. This is a single pivot door, not a bi-fold, but you look like the type of company that may be able to provide different custom assembly options. Our architecture firm is currently working on a single family home located in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles, California. We are looking into installing a bifold door in the garage with the intent of saving some head space being that the existing garage is not too ample. Good Morning, A few years ago I requested a price quote for a strap conversion kit for a 40'x 17' bi-fold door. If it helps the bid # is 2186-HMP. I would like to get an updated quote for the same size door as we are almost ready to get our hangar doors updated at this point.
